Datenschutz / Impressum
Table of contents
This page doesn’t need a Datenschutz (Privacy Policy) or an Impressum (Legal Notice)—but because Germany loves bureaucracy, let’s spell it out anyway.
Impressum? Nein Danke! #
Under German law §5 TMG §5 DDG, an Impressum is required for businesses,
commercial websites, and anything that generates revenue (ads, affiliate
links, etc.). This blog is none of the above.
- Not a business – No company, no clients, no monetization. Just a blog.
- No ads, no tracking, no affiliate links – Because I actually care about privacy, not profit.
- No services offered, no shop, no subscriptions – Nothing to sell, nothing to sign up for.
So, legally, an Impressum isn’t required.
Why § 18 Abs. 2 MStV Can Fuck Off. #
§ 55 Abs. 2 RStV § 18 Abs. 2 MStV covers
journalistic-editorial content aimed at shaping
public opinion.
- Not journalism – No reporting, no investigations.
- No regular publication – Posts drop whenever, not on a schedule.
- No agenda – Strong opinions != media influence.
Legal complaints can be piped to /dev/null
where they
belong.
Datenschutz? What Data? #
There is no privacy policy because there’s nothing to protect. This site collects zero data. Here’s what doesn’t happen when you visit:
- No Cookies – First-party, third-party, whatever-party—this site doesn’t use them.
- No Logs – Error logs and access logs are disabled. No tracking, no stored IPs.
- No Social Media Garbage – No like buttons, no tracking pixels, no embedded Twitter/X nonsense.
- No Contact Form – Because I don’t need your email.
- No Comments – This isn’t Facebook. If you have something to say, start your own blog.
- No Third-Party Content – No YouTube embeds, no iframes, no CDN-loaded scripts calling home to Big Tech.
- No Cloudflare or Other CDNs – Everything is served directly from the server, no third-party sitting between you and the site.
In short: Your visit leaves no trace on my side. There’s nothing to collect, nothing to sell, and nothing to leak.
Still Worried? #
If you’re paranoid (good, you should be), feel free to browse using a VPN, a hardened browser, or Tor. You’ll still get the same tracking-free experience, just with more peace of mind.
Final Disclaimer #
Legal disclaimers are nonbinding and in most cases more hurtful than helpful, so none given.
